Associate professor at the School of Physical Science and Technology at Hebei University. Yuan Tang received her Ph.D degree in Engineering from Tianjin University in January 2025, and she has worked in Research Center for Solar Driven Carbon Neutrality in the same year. She has been engaged in semiconductor materials design, synthesis and structural modification for high efficiency hydrogen production and high value-added chemicals synthesis based on photocatalysis and photothermal catalysis. To date, she has published over 10 academic paperss in academic journals such as Energy & Environmental Science, Advanced Energy Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, and other reputable journals. Her main research interest focuses on the design and synthesis of functional materials with structural directed modulation, and explore its application in photocatalytic/photothermal catalytic clean energy conversion:
(1) Photothermal catalytic CO2 conversion to value-added fuels or chemicals
(2) Photocatalytic/photothermal catalytic hydrogen production
